Join Audi Club AZ as we drive to Bisbee and stay the night in the Historic mining town, Sept 14-15. At 5,300’ elevation, Bisbee is known for cooler temps, plus eclectic and artistic shops, street art and dining.
We will meet for lunch at Big Nose Kate’s Saloon in Tombstone (about 25 min/23 miles North of Bisbee) at 11:30am on Saturday, September 14th.
The members driving down from Phoenix will receive a meeting point and driving directions should you wish to drive down with the group.
The members driving down from Tucson will also receive a meeting point and driving directions should you wish to drive down with the group. Both groups and all other members who traveled separately should plan to convene at lunch at Big Nose Kate’s Saloon.
After lunch, we will head down to Bisbee, settle into hotels, and meet for dinner.
Some ideas of attractions in town include touring The Old Queen Mine, ascending The Great Stairs of Bisbee to admire the views, or hoping on a Ghost Tour after dark.
Sunday morning, we will meet for Breakfast at Bisbee Breakfast Club and then have free time for those who wish to further explore Bisbee/Lowell or any attractions on the way back including:
- Kartchner Caverns State Park
- Chiricahua National Monument
- Benson, AZ
- Sonoita and Elgin vineyard wine-growing region off Highway 82
